Downtown Flower Baskets Program

Downtown Kennewick is Bloomin’ Awesome!

2023 marks the beginning of the Downtown Kennewick Flower Basket Program, which will run from May into early October. 2023 is Phase 1 of this new Beautification Project. We are starting with 13 hanging flower baskets. Each year we plan to add more baskets to Historic Downtown Kennewick with a goal of 56 hanging baskets by the end of Phase 3.

The Downtown Kennewick Flower Basket Program is made possible by the Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership and community contributors, private donors, and volunteers! These initial 13 glorious baskets add color and vibrancy throughout the historic downtown business district and showcase our community pride!

Watering Volunteers Wanted!

Volunteer Position: Be a hydration hero and join the Flower Basket Watering Crew!
The Flower Basket Watering Crew will be organized into teams of 2 per volunteer shift. Shifts are about 1.5 hours long. Watering will occur in the mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This volunteer position is seasonal and runs from May to early October.
