Project Overview: Flag Plaza (204 W. Kennewick Ave) Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Project
Project Goals: Add a new line of electrical service to the plaza lot to support the installation of 4 power pedestals to support food trucks, live music, and future lights. Tie in an existing line of service to this new panel for the new line of service.
Install a new transformer for a new line of electrical service.
Install new panelboards
Install electrical conduit for new service
Install 4 power pedestals
Scope of Work: For the full Scope of Work please refer to pages E001, E002, E101, E102, E901 in the attached drawings.
Additional Considerations.
All electrical items and panels shall be as specified or proved acceptable by the owner to engineer
Cut sheets on all electrical items to be installed
Shop Drawing submittals
Current roadblocks and barriers to success:
Awarded contractor will need to work with HDKP on a communication plan to notify downtown businesses of disturbance and any impact to the right of way on Benton Street, the alley, and the parking lot at 204 West Kennewick Ave.
If Benton Street will need to be closed or partially obstructed, a Right of Way permit will need to be filed by the contractor.
Ability to complete the job by June 30, 2023
Evaluation Metrics and Criteria:
All bids shall be evaluated on their technical approach to the scope of work as described above in this document and the bid price.
Bidding Contractors shall be located within a 50-mile radius of the Tri-Cities.
