Introducing your newest Board of Directors for HDKP!

Meet Shaun Ehlers! 

Some of you may already recognize Shaun from his downtown businesses, Free Culture Clothing and from his social media where he often hypes other small and local businesses in addition to his own. Shaun has been actively involved with HDKP and downtown activities and promotions for the past few years. 

Shaun started his business 4 years ago and in that time added as second location. His flagship store is located downtown on Kennewick Avenue and the other inside the Columbia Center Mall. Shaun was even born here in downtown Kennewick at KGH, talk about a true born downtowner! 

He has lived downtown his entire life and believes downtown Kennewick is a wonderful home base and is proud to call this place home. We think so too! 

What you may not know about Shaun is that in his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, hiking and doing anything outside that keeps him active.

What made Shaun want to get involved with downtown?

“I love the architecture and I have always seen the potential for what could be here in our downtown. The folks are kind and hard working small business owners, who I am proud to support. Owning a store in the downtown is one of my most proudest accomplishments to date!” 

Passionate about arts and fashion, Shaun is dedicated to promoting and encouraging an increase of arts and fashion to the downtown. “I see an opportunity to re-inspire new talent and bring them to downtown, an increase in foot traffic, and continue to grow downtown Kennewick as place for people to hang out.” 

We are ecstatic to have Shuan’s energy and positivity on the board! We look forward to working with him on promoting downtown Kennewick on the destination that it is!
